- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth with some small chunks remaining.
- Mix in melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the banana mixture until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the icing, combine brown sugar and heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and simmer for about two minutes before removing from heat; stir in sea salt.
- Drizzle the icing over cooled bars and enjoy!
