How to Make White Chocolate Cranberry Bliss Bars
- Prep Pan & Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch metal baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy lifting. Lightly grease the parchment with nonstick baking spray.
- Mix the Blondie Batter: In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar together vigorously for 1 minute until smooth and glossy. Whisk in eggs, vanilla extract, ground ginger, cinnamon, and salt until completely emulsified.
- Fold Flour & Add-Ins: Stir in baking powder and all-purpose flour with a rubber spatula just until combined (do not overmix). Gently fold in the 3/4 cup chopped dried cranberries and 3/4 cup white chocolate chips until evenly dispersed.
- Bake the Base: Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan using an offset spatula. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs. Do not overbake! Remove from oven and let cool completely in the pan for at least 1 hour.
- Whip the Frosting: In a stand mixer or mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and butter on medium speed for 2 minutes until completely smooth and fluffy with zero lumps. Gradually add powdered sugar on low speed, then add vanilla extract and grated orange zest. Beat on high for 1 minute until silky and luscious.
- Frost & Garnish: Spread the cream cheese frosting generously over the cooled blondie base. Scatter the 1/2 cup chopped cranberries and fresh orange zest evenly across the frosting. Drizzle melted white chocolate in a tight zig-zag pattern over the top.
- Chill & Slice: Refrigerate the pan for at least 1 hour so the frosting sets firmly. Using the parchment paper handles, lift the slab onto a cutting board. Slice into 12 squares, then cut each square diagonally to create 24 classic Starbucks-style triangles. Enjoy cold or at room temperature!
